Here, we stage and kit your new PCs so they include the required documentation, software programs and accessories and are out-of-the-box ready when shipped to your employees.
Our configuration process includes attention to hardware functionality. Manufacturer defects and warranty repair work can be performed prior to the end user’s receipt.
We offer asset tag capabilities with open design based on your internal process needs. Some of the fields we can encode include:
- Company name and logo
- Model number
- Serial number (text or barcode)
- MAC address
- Aircard reader
- Lease or purchase data
- Warranty start and end dates
- Helpdesk phone number
- Other fixed text
As hardware is requested by customers or scheduled for deployment to end users, Now Micro provides full kitting services to limit your time spent setting up the computer.
During this process, we pull all of the pre-specified items needed for a designated end user. In addition to an imaged computer, this may include a monitor, docking station, bag, manuals and any necessary documentation.
These items are safely boxed together with any required assembly instruction manuals. Now Micro then customizes box and/or device labels to include scheduled deployment data, end user name and location. Using this information, you know exactly where the box needs to go upon arrival.
As soon as the box is shipped, our records are updated within your inventory management system so you can easily track the next stage — Technology Deployment.
