Senior Accountant

Overview

As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day accounting activities in the Now Micro office as well as assisting the Chief Financial Officer with the management of the financial operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing accounting operations including A/R, A/P and GL transactions.
  • Reconciles bank statements and general ledger account on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Assess and support credit demands of customers.
  • Assists CFO with fiscal strategies and processes for the company.
  • Prepare and report financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to configure and maintain annual department budgets.
  • Reviews records of accounts to ensure accuracy and reconciles any discrepancies.
  • Work with the Office Administrator/Bookkeeper on A/R, A/P and office budgets.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for process improvements as well as successfully implementing these policies and procedures.
  • Assist and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements, compliance and tax filings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors’ or Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field required.
  • 3+ years of progressive Accounting Experience.
  • Strong time management and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications-Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred.

OEM Customer Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Customer Manager for our OEM/Digital Signage division. This position will be responsible for the developing and sustaining of trusted relationships with customer accounts, acting as the Now Micro primary source of communication with key business stakeholders, as well as anticipating and responding to customer concerns. This position will rely heavily on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish customer-driving objectives and support Now Micro OEM sales activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide manufacturing schedule communication including updates to customers and internal manufacturing resources
  • Collaborate with business partners, vendors, internal teams and customers to assist in improving their experience in the order process
  • Thoroughly capture key account activities, including review notes, customer retention efforts, action list management, new customer onboarding and customer escalations
  • Manage interface between customers, purchasing and manufacturing to ensure products product quality, delivery timelines and customer satisfaction
  • Proactively take initiative and work with limited supervision
  • Provide operational marketing support including ordering supplies and event organization
  • Maintain customer and sales facing solutions and product information
  • Update external solutions directories and internal product pages
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong customer service, communication and organization skills
  • Ability to learn industry specific terminology, concerns and processes
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as needed
  • Strong understanding of process management
  • Ability to follow and maintain existing workflow, as well as create new processes to improve efficiencies
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with the Information -Technology and manufacturing fields
  • Knowledge of Great Plains preferred, but not required

Office Administrator

Overview

As the Office Administrator, you will be the first impression of Now Micro Inc. to customers and visitors. You will also be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities in the Now Micro office as well as assisting with accounting duties. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, autonomous, highly detail orientated with excellent communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day facility needs including ordering office supplies, sort and deliver mail, vendor relations and other various office duties.
  • Direct our visitors and customers to the appropriate department via email, telephone and in person.
  • Assist with A/R accounting, including issuing invoices, maintaining the A/R schedule, collections and A/R deposits.
  • Utilize accounting systems to record, file and store information.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of invoices.
  • Assist with logistics of in house company and customer meetings.
  • Other general office and accounting duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors’ or Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field
  • Previous experience with Accounts Payables and Receivables
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications-Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Previous experience in a professional office setting
  • Must be detail orientated and well organized

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
