Inside Account Specialist

Overview

The Inside Account Specialist is responsible for providing sales support to Account Executives by assisting them with administrative responsibilities and daily sales functions. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and use his or her experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and self-sufficiency is essential. The IAS will be required to perform a variety of tasks related to the sales process.

Required Skills and Responsibilities
  • Respond to requests for quotes and general RFP responses
  • Engage in day to day communication with customers regarding opportunities
  • Maintain both customer and vendor relationships in a professional manner
  • Coordinate sales process and technical resources for clients
  • Track and monitor customer activities/ opportunities using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Proactively take initiative and work with limited supervision
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor degree preferred or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to multitask
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong understanding of process management
  • Ability to create processes and modify existing ones to maximize efficiency
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with the Information Technology field
  • Knowledge of Great Plains preferred but not required

Technical Service and Support Technician

Summary:

The Technical Service and Support Technician position is primarily responsible for providing initial customer support as well as computer hardware and software troubleshooting assistance to resellers and end users to resolve any issues they may have with products and to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction are maintained. In this role you will gather the client’s information and determine the best resolution in a timely and friendly manner. A certain degree of creativity, self-sufficiency and ambition is essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides quality, timely technical service and support to all customers via phone, email, remote assistance, in person or at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoots, performs diagnostics and repairs customer computers in service as well as onsite.
  • Configures and installs customer computers, software and peripherals to customer specific requirements on location.
  • Provides product specification, warranty confirmation and technical assistance upon request.
  • Coordinates, and expedites customer support inquiries and escalates requests to other departments and specialists as needed for appropriate resolution.
  • Creates orders and return authorization paperwork for customers to return defective products.
  • Inspects and performs tests on customer returned computer parts.
  • Accurately maintains records of technical resolutions in a knowledgebase.
  • Monitors all support requests through to resolution.
  • Identifies and helps create new processes to improve work flow.
  • Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or 3-5 years of relevant technical support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills; able to multitask while maintaining a high attention to detail
  • Proven customer service, computer troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as needed
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
